Research Interests
My research program is primarily focused on issues related to freight transportation and logistics although I have a broad interest in transportation at all levels. Current projects include 1) exploring the potential impacts of Truck Only Lanes and 2) understanding the role of innovation in transportation gateways.
A secondary research stream is related to environmental indicators and freight as well as driver training and safety. I have an ongoing interest in a range of transportation policy issues and have previously published on subjects including climate change policy, emissions forecasting, impacts of climate change adaptations on freight, regulatory policy, urban freight planning, freight and land use, transportation demand management and deregulation of transportation provision.
